Instruction:
1. Clean the mug with an abrasive cleaner and a sponge before painting. Then run it through the dishwasher and wipe it down with white spirit to ensure that it is free from dust and grease.
2. Shake the markers well with the cap on. Pump by slowly pressing down the tip several times until the ink shows. Start by writing with the markers on a piece of paper, then paint directly on the mug.
3. Leave the paint to dry for 4 hours. Then place the mug in the oven (do not preheat) and fire for 30 minutes at 160 °C. Leave to cool down in the oven. The mug is now dishwasher-safe up to 50 °C.
Note: Do not paint the drinking edges of the mug. Store the markers horizontally.
Painting and designing dinnerware
Our porcelain, glass and acrylic paint (Glass Paint/Acrylic Paint/Porcelain & Glass Painter, Porcelain & Glass Painter KIDS) is basically non-toxic and also saliva-proof. Nevertheless, we recommend not to paint drinking rims and cut surfaces of tableware, as the paint is not approved for direct food contact.
