Matt acrylic marker, water-based. Very good coverage, quick-drying. Light-fast and weather-resistant. For painting all smooth and porous surfaces such as paper, wood, terracotta, metal, plaster, plastic. Pump system with high pigment content!
also suitable for porous and rough surfaces (e.g. paper, plaster, terracotta)
The surface has to be free from dust and grease before painting. Now you are ready to apply the base coat in the desired colour, e.g. with Marabu Decormatt. Leave to dry thoroughly.
Now you can apply individual designs with the Deco Painter. If you do not want to work free-hand you can use tracing paper. Place the paper template of the desired design on the tracing paper, fix it lightly with adhesive tape to prevent it from slipping and trace the outlines with a thick pencil.
Shake the Painter well before use with the cap in place. Pump the tip by pressing several times until the ink shows.
Then start writing with the marker on some paper, not directly on the object to be painted. Now the transferred design can be traced with the Painter. After use replace the cap until it clicks in place. Store horizontally!
Effective writing with the calligraphy pen
Always keep the calligraphy tip in the same position while writing to obtain more effective lettering.Even paint flow
Pumping has to be repeated during painting to ensure even paint flow. Close the cap, shake the marker and only pump 2 to 3 times. Never leave the marker open for too long as this can dry out the tip. Store horizontally!Closing the caps

Then remove the cap and push down the tip down on a neutral surface a few times until the ink becomes visible. Please note: 1. The thin 0.8 mm tip only has to be pumped twice. 2. Metallic and glitter colours have to be shaken longer as the pigments are heavier. 3. Proceed slowly when pumping the Marabu Painters as too much pumping can lead to excessive discharge of ink.Dried or dirty paint tips
